Terms of sale
Last updated: 3 November 2026
These terms apply when you buy an eSIM data plan on impumba.com. Please read them before you pay. By completing a purchase, you agree to them. Questions? Email hello@impumba.com.
What you're buying
- A prepaid, data-only eSIM plan for the countries listed on the plan's page. No phone number, no calls and no SMS.
- Each plan has a data allowance (for example 3 GB) and a number of days (for example 15 days).
- The plan's days start counting when the eSIM first connects to a network in a covered country, not when you buy it.
- You must install the eSIM and connect for the first time within 180 days of purchase. After that, the plan can no longer be started.
- Hotspot (sharing your data with other devices) is allowed on every plan.
- Coverage means the local partner networks listed on the plan's page, wherever those networks reach. Like any mobile network, speed and signal depend on where you are, the network and your phone. We can't guarantee coverage in every spot.
- Some places are not covered even though they're close to covered countries: Monaco, Andorra, San Marino, Vatican City, Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man, and Gibraltar on the Europe + Turkey plan. The plan's page always shows the exact country list.
Who can buy
You must be 18 or older, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
Before you buy: check your phone
Your phone must support eSIM and must not be locked to a mobile operator. Not every phone does, even recent ones. Please check before you buy: an eSIM that can't be installed on your phone is not a fault of the plan (see the refund rules below).
Prices and payment
- Prices are in euros and include VAT where it applies.
- You pay by card through our payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
- Your purchase is confirmed when the payment succeeds.
Delivery
- After payment, your eSIM's QR code and activation details appear on the order confirmation page and are sent to the email address you gave at checkout. This usually takes a few minutes, and can take up to 24 hours.
- If we can't deliver your eSIM, we'll email you and refund you in full.
- Keep your QR code and activation details private: anyone who has them can install your eSIM.
Using your eSIM
- Turn on data roaming for the eSIM when you're abroad, or it won't connect.
- Your data allowance and days are prepaid. When either runs out, the plan stops. There are no extra charges from us.
- Don't use the eSIM for anything illegal, for sending spam, or in a way that harms the networks. If you do, the plan may be stopped without a refund.
Your right to cancel and refunds
EU law usually gives you 14 days to change your mind about an online purchase. For an eSIM plan, that right ends once the eSIM has been installed on a device, because from that moment the plan is being supplied to you. You agree to this at checkout.
So, in short:
- Not installed yet: you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
- Installed: no refund for change of mind.
- Doesn't work because of us or our network partners, and we can't fix it: we refund you.
Full details are on our refund policy page.
Our responsibility
- We're responsible for delivering the eSIM plan you bought, as described on its page.
- We're not responsible for things outside our control, such as your phone not supporting eSIM, gaps in local network coverage, or network outages. Where something is our fault, our responsibility is limited to the price you paid for the plan.
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies is the one shown when you bought your plan.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Malta. If something goes wrong, please email us first at hello@impumba.com: we'll do our best to sort it out. As a consumer you can also go to the courts of the country where you live.
