Who is responsible

impumba (impumba.com) is responsible for your data. For anything about your data, email hello@impumba.com.

What we use, and why

• Your email address, which you give at checkout: to send your eSIM and messages about your order or a refund, and to answer you if you contact us. Legal basis: to perform our contract with you.
• Payment details (card, name on card, country): collected and processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your card number. Legal basis: to perform our contract with you, and our legal duty to keep tax records.
• Your email address, if you bought from us: to send you occasional offers and travel tips about our eSIM plans. You can unsubscribe any time with the link in every such email, or by emailing hello@impumba.com. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in telling customers about similar products, as the law allows.
• Messages you send us: to answer you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in helping our customers.
• Basic visit statistics: page views are counted without cookies and without identifying you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.

Who we share it with

We share only what each service provider needs to do its job for us:

• our payment provider, to process your payment and keep the order record;
• our email provider, to send your eSIM and order emails;
• our website hosting and security provider;
• our email inbox provider, for support messages;
• our eSIM supplier, which receives only the order itself, never your name or email address.

We never sell your data.

International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside the EU, mainly in the United States. Where they do, they use the safeguards EU law requires, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

• Order and payment records: as long as tax law requires.
• Order emails: kept by our email provider for 30 days.
• Support emails: as long as needed to help you.
• Offers and travel tips: until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

impumba.com doesn't use cookies to track you. The secure payment page of our payment provider uses its own cookies to process your payment safely.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we have about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, object to its use, or get a copy of it. Email hello@impumba.com. Some data we must keep for tax reasons, even if you ask us to delete it.

If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to Malta's Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC), or to the data protection authority where you live.
